Framework Workshop

Intellectual Engagement: Who’s doing the work? (13)

October 28, 2020
4:30-6:00 PM ET
Designing suitably demanding learning tasks for students is one of the most challenging aspects of
teaching. When combined with a desire to engage students in discussions that deepen understanding, creating tasks in which students are doing “the work” can challenge even the most experienced teachers. This workshop will focus on the classroom environment and intellectual engagement as a result of purposeful planning for “minds-on” learning. We will engage with each other as professionals in the practice who are focused on growth and improvement.
